Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (Level 3)

Enter Job Description... The Registered Nurse (RN) ER Level 3 will provide emergency healthcare services to patients of all ages, ranging from minor injuries to critical trauma cases. The RN will assess, prioritize, and deliver rapid, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting while ensuring patient safety and effective coordination with the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities " Assess patient conditions, recognize critical situations, and prioritize care accordingly " Initiate emergency interventions when physicians are not immediately available " Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed " Operate and monitor emergency equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters " Provide care for trauma, acute illness, and life-threatening conditions " Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately " Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team " Assign tasks to team members based on patient needs and staff competencies " Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes " Maintain adequate supplies, equipment, and a safe working environment Minimum Qualifications " Minimum 3 5 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience (5 years preferred) " Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License " Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills " Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment " Excellent communication and teamwork skills Certifications Required " Basic Life Support (BLS) " Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) " Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) " Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (All certifications must be from AHA) Work Environment & Physical Requirements " Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed " Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs " Capable of handling high-stress emergencies Additional Requirements " Must pass pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screening, etc.) " Ability to multitask and respond quickly in emergency situations " Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional standards
