Structural Engineer

A+F Engineers, an award winning well-established structural engineering firm in Washington DC is looking for a motivated structural engineers with a strong academic background in structural engineering. We design a variety of complex structures including state of the art stadiums, airports, higher education facilities, laboratories, federal and state facilities and more. Responsibilities and salary are according to the level of experience and may include: Project management and communications with the client Preparing project calculations for steel, concrete, and wood structures Creating construction drawings and specifications Working closely with design team and contractors Reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFI’s Performing site visits and writing up reports Working with BIM delivery methodology and collaboration in Revit Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience (preferred) BS in Civil / Structural Engineering required MS in Civil / Structural Engineering (preferred) Salary will reflect applicants’ qualifications.
