Title: Traveling SuperintendentLocation: Baltimore, MDSalary Range: $120K-$130KProject Types: Federal and Commercial ProjectsTravel Areas- PA thru NC, New MexicoTiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Baltimore, MD area on their search for a Traveling Superintendent. Superintendent shall supervise all company employees, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors daily. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed. This position shall be responsible for monitoring project security personnel. Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities of Superintendent:Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on critical path to ensure timely completion.Perform quality control duties and responsibilities for the work being performed.Communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals.Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with the contracted scope of work.Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and agencies.Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards and enforce compliance.Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.Maintain written daily log of activities on the jobsite.Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.Monitor project activities and assist in future planning.Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate the work.Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors for quality of work or scheduling.Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
