Early Head Start - Home Visitor

If you have a strong desire to help others and serve the community, this could be the right opportunity for you.Position Summary:Early Head Start Home Visitor positions are responsible for providing child development services and supportive services to families with infants, toddlers, and expectant mothers. The Home Visitor / Family Educator will work with typically developing children and children with disabilities to effectively implement the Early Head Start home-based curriculum.Home Visitors connect families with community partners to provide social services, as needed, on topics such as health services, child socializations, child advocacy, crisis intervention, parent involvement training, etc. Documentation is also a large portion of the Family Educator role.The Home Visitors report to the office each day (located in Chippewa / Beaver Falls) and then drive the company vehicle to the home visiting appointments in Beaver County. Family educators build trusting relationships and are advocates for the pregnant moms and babies they are supporting.Full-time positions work a schedule of Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. Occasional Evenings & Weekends No Holidays.
