We need an independent, motivated driver to manage our deliveries and pick-ups of equipment with our company van and box trucks for live events and audio/visual installations. Candidates with prior shop experience in the events/tech field are a perfect fit. This is a full time position with at least half the hours in the afternoons and evenings. Some weekend work is also required.You’re an ideal candidate if you have at least one year of experience with:Driving large vehicles (a clean driving record and NYS driver’s license are required; CDL not essential)Packing trucks and operating lift gatesLifting heaving items (up to 75 lbs) safelyNavigating NYCWorking in the event production industry as stagehand or AV tech (preferred, but not required)And are:Friendly and down-to-earthA team-playerDependable, trustworthy, and reliableGreat with time managementA good communicatorA creative thinkerOne who takes pride in their workInterested in learning new devices and technologiesAble to work an erratic non-traditional work schedule. Most often evenings and late nights during the week. Some early mornings, and weekends.
