Warehouse Team Lead- Customer ShippingThe Customer Shipping Lead oversees daily shipping operations to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. The role assigns tasks, reviews documentation, and supports team members while maintaining safety and efficiency. Candidates need shipping or warehouse experience and strong computer and WMS skills.Schedule: Monday - Friday 3pm to 11pmOvertime ExpectationsOccasional overtime may be required, including Saturdays, when business needs demand it.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day functions within the Customer Shipping department to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on scheduleAssign daily tasks and provide directions to team members to maintain an efficient workflowServe as the primary point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status updates, delivery timelines, and shipment-related concernsReview and ensure accuracy of all shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and labels, and verify shipments meet customer and carrier standardsProvide hands-on guidance, training, and coaching to shipping team members while supporting continuous improvement and safety procedures.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, and hands-on work throughout the shiftCollaborative setting with frequent interaction across departmentsMust follow all safety procedures and proactively identify hazardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or logisticsExperience in a lead role or taking on leadership responsibilities (training team members, coordinating tasks, etc.)Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping platformsExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordAbility to track, analyze, and report operational data confidentlyPersonality TraitsLead-by-example mindsetDependable and consistentApproachable and supportiveCustomer-first mindsetProcess minded and forward-thinkingQuick thinker and data drivenProfessional under pressurePay/Benefits/PerksBase: $22/hr (shift premium: $1.50/hr)Accrue up to five days PTO in the first year; two weeks vacation plus one week PTO accrue at first anniversaryMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, DisabilityAdditional benefits: Doc-On-Demand, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Volunteer Day, Employee Assistance ProgramAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
