Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Vue.js Focused)Location: Remote role Rye, New YorkUSC/GC onlyDuration: 2-Year ContractJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong front-end focus and deep expertise in Vue.js (Vue 3) to join a long-term project with one of the world's leading investment management firms. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, enterprise-grade web applications and microservices.This is a front-end-heavy role, but you will also contribute to back-end development using Python, FastAPI, and RPC-based microservices. The project will focus on delivering scalable, high-performance applications that meet strict reliability and security standards expected in the financial domain.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain responsive and dynamic front-end components using Vue.js 3 and related libraries.Design, implement, and integrate APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI) and RPC protocols.Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into efficient, user-friendly interfaces.Write clean, well-documented, and testable code across the full stack.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.Ensure application security, scalability, and performance meet enterprise-grade standards.Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack in development and production environments.Required Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of professional software development experience.Strong proficiency with Vue.js (Vue 3) and front-end tooling (Vuex/Pinia, Vue Router, Vite/Webpack, etc.).Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous data handling.Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in FastAPI.Experience with RPC protocol-based services is a strong plus.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Nice to Have:Prior experience in financial services or fintech.Experience with TypeScript and component libraries like Vuetify or Element Plus.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
