Shipping Clerk - AMT

Job Description: The Shipping Clerk is required to stage, wrap and load all production parts leaving the facility. These duties are managed and performed as directed by the specific requirements of the customer, within approval guidelines and procedures established by the Supply Chain Manager. What will my responsibilities include? Load and unload various types of trucks. Routes paperwork to Purchasing for scheduling of Outside Processing (OP). Counts, tags, and packages parts for Outside Processing. Maintains Outside Processing file. Uses a personal computer in a network environment to perform daily functions. Operates a forklift. Uses hand and power tools. Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.  Performs other duties as assigned. What key skills and experience do I need? Motivated, dependable individual who exhibits a strong attention to detail and arrives on time for start of shift.  Ability to adhere to a flexible and demanding schedule that may result in short days, short-notice unscheduled overtime or additional weekend shifts.  Qualifications: Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the use of hand and power tools such as hammer, drills, nail and staple guns, etc. Experience in forklift operation Physical Demands: Standing and walking throughout the work day.  Lifting up to 40 pounds.  Ability to operate a forklift.  Use of computer keyboard, mouse and multiline phone throughout the work day.  Why join Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar?
