Job Title: Network Security EngineerLocation: Chicago (Hybrid)Salary: Up to £175,000 Total CompWe're looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a global infrastructure team responsible for securing enterprise networks across offices and data centres. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you'll design, implement and support large-scale firewall and network security solutions while working closely with networking, cloud and infrastructure teams.What you'll be doingDesign, deploy and manage Palo Alto firewall environments, including Panorama, security policies and SSL decryptionLead firewall migrations and improve network security architecture across global infrastructureTroubleshoot complex network and security issues involving routing, NAT, traffic flows and packet analysisWork alongside infrastructure and cloud teams to deliver resilient, secure connectivity across on-prem and hybrid environmentsAct as a senior escalation point, mentor junior engineers and help drive operational best practicesIdentify opportunities to improve security, automation and overall network performanceWhat we're looking for5+ years' experience in Network Security EngineeringStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and PanoramaSolid networking fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, NAT and packet analysisExperience designing secure enterprise networks and leading firewall migrationScripting or automation experience (Python, APIs or similar) is advantageousExposure to AWS networking, Cloudflare, F5, Arista or other enterprise networking technologies is a plusApply Now!
