The Provider Management team is responsible for supporting the Provider Pega platform at Delta Dental.As a Senior Pega Software Engineer, you will help build highly critical business processes. Along with writing effective code, the position will be responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining a highly scalable set of products and applications. The incumbent will use industry best practices and work collaboratively with our business, product, and technology teams in an agile development environment to drive how technology enables more efficient business processes and simplified user experiencesResponsibilitiesSkills ExperiencePerforms as a key contributor to an engineering team that builds and supports exceptional products that provide innovative solutions to challenging business use cases existing systems and operational problemsCollaborates closely with Engineering leadership Product Managers Designers Test Automation and other teams and business units to define prioritize sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results.Participates in architectural design, system analysis and programming activities on application software; this may often require independent research and studyQualificationsRequired SkillsBachelor or Master in Computer Science and/or equivalent technical education and experienceExperience with developing and deploying Pega applications on Azure or similar cloud platformMust be a certified PEGA Senior Systems Architect Lead System Architect is a BIG plusMust be strong in Pega platform Case Management, Data Management Integration, Decision Management, User Experience Background Processing Security Systems AdministrationExperience with Root Cause Analysis in the Pega ecosystem to quickly address and fix system issuesAbility to integrate with external systems of record with the Pega PlatformSkilled in developing quantitative cost benefit analysis to measure improvementRequired Skills10 years of experience designing and developing highly scalable and secure Pega Applications, Healthcare, and/or Customer Service capability experience is a plusExperience with developing and deploying Pega applications on Azure or similar cloud platformMust be strong in Pega platform Case Management Data Management Integration Decision Management, User Experience Background Processing Security Systems Administration
