We Are Looking For Candidates With, Technical Skills/ExperienceNeed 9+ years experience Must have skillsBig data (Hadoop HIVE Spark Scala Kafka Hbase SQL Scripting Apache) Nice to have Technical SkillsCore Java / Scala / Python / Unix Shell ScriptingThis position is responsible for developing integrating testing and maintaining existing and new applications knowing one or more programming languages knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models.Understand requirements build codes support testing and fix defects guide developers in the course of development activities in order to develop high standard stable codes within the limits of Cognizant and clients processes standards and guidelines..Project Planning and Set-upUnderstand the project scope identify activities/ tasks task level estimates schedule dependencies risks and provide inputs to Module Lead for review Provide inputs to testing strategy configuration deployment hardware/software requirement etc.Review plan and provide feedback on gaps timeline and execution feasibility etc. as required in the project Participate in KT sessions conducted by customer/ other business teams and provide feedback on requirementsRequirement Understanding and AnalysisAnalyze functional/non functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirementsBased on understanding of systemupstream & downstream provide feedback and inputs on gaps in requirements and technical feasibility of requirementsDesignPrepare the LLD/ detailed design documents based on HLD and briefing from Module Lead Seek inputs from the developers on specific modules as applicableConsolidate all modules and provide to Module Lead/ Architects/ Designers for review Suggest changes in design on technical grounds Develop components inventory for the code to be developed tying it to the non-functional requirementsPerform sampling of data to understand the character/ quality of the data (project dependentin the absence of data analyst or designer)Identify tools and technologies to be used in the project as well as reusable objects that could be customized for the projectCodingFollow coding standards and best practices to develop code and check code quality Share developed code with supervisor for reviewRework on the code based on inputs if required Perform complex AttributesPassionate, intelligent, critical thinker, problem solver, highly persuasiveProactive communicator, documents clearly and succinctlyDetail-oriented, thoughtful, respectful - a team player Required experienceBachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering)Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering) preferred Experience and Skills That Are Nice to HaveScrum/Agile methodology working group experienceExperience with distributed computing, from design, implementation and supporting in productionExperience with Device-as-a-service systemsExperience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database technologiesExperience with software engineering best practices, design patterns and anti-patternsExperience in working on end to end CI/CD pipeline What You Can ExpectNext Steps: Competitive candidates may be invited to participate in the interview process.
