SDET - (JAVA/API/SQL) - NC/TX/BOS

Due to their recent expansion in clientele they are looking to enhance the Healthcare platform which results in a driving need for Automation Testers.Apex Systems is a world class technology services business that incorporates industry insights and experience to deliver solutions that fulfill our clients' digital visions.Apex has an opportunity for SDET in the Boston/NC/TX area. Here are the details:Position: SDETLocation: NC/TX/BOSDuration: 12 MonthsClient / Group: Fidelity HealthcareProject Name: Fidelity Healthcare Acceleration SquadPosition Title: SDETNumber of Openings: 5Primary responsibilities: testing of stories that the squad is working on, write test cases, automation, regression, review the regression. Help developers with triaging some of the issues at the code level.Eventually trying to build a t-shaped team where SDETs are able to take on some build work, and Developers are responsible for the bulk of their testingLooking for 5 SDETs with strong Java coding experience. Won't be doing any dev/build work day 1. Majority of immediate need is test case build, automation, execution, coding to the extent that they'll need to get into the codebase to triage issues2 frameworks in use: Java/MyBatis and Java/REST Assures. Will be opportunity to help optimize the frameworks, add to it, see where we can reuse components and streamline, become more efficient, diagnose failures fasterREST Assured experience strongly preferred, Postman okay if they have strong automation experience, Karate would be a fine substituteSQL experience--will need to write queries, optimize/troubleshoot queries. Any more advanced knowledge (i.e. indexes, stored procedures) is nice to havePython nice to have--they have some python automation in their frameworkAzure and CI/CD nice to have--all on prem right now but will be migrating /deploying test cases to cloud. There's an ops team who will help with that though.Need familiarity with Java frameworks--Springboot and MyBatis. Spring boot from the REST API troubleshooting side, need to know what they're looking at within the framework. MyBatis because one of their test frameworks around Java persistence to database is built around it.
