**NO C2C** General SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Red Hat Satellite Senior Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization initiative in Fort Worth, Texas. This role will focus on managing and automating Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments using Red Hat Satellite and Ansible within a secure enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Linux systems administration, configuration management, patching, provisioning, automation, and enterprise lifecycle management. This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role requiring deep technical knowledge and the ability to operate independently in complex infrastructure environments.This engagement is expected to run approximately 1,080 hours and requires onsite support in Fort Worth, TX. An approved travel and expense budget is available for qualified consultants requiring travel support.ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, administer, and optimize Red Hat Satellite environmentsManage enterprise Linux lifecycle operations including provisioning, patching, content management, and system registrationDevelop and maintain Ansible automation playbooks, roles, and workflowsAutomate infrastructure administration and operational processes across Red Hat Enterprise Linux environmentsSupport system compliance, configuration management, and standardization initiativesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Satellite, Ansible automation, repositories, subscriptions, and managed hostsCollaborate with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders to support infrastructure modernization effortsProvide technical recommendations and best practices for scalable and secure Linux managementCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and implementation guidesParticipate in technical discussions, status meetings, and client-facing workshops as neededRequirementsActive Secret Clearance requiredStrong hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite administration and managementExperience developing and supporting automation using AnsibleStrong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environmentsExperience with Linux system administration, patch management, and lifecycle managementFamiliarity with enterprise infrastructure operations and automation best practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a senior-level consulting roleExcellent communication and customer-facing consulting skillsAbility to work onsite in Fort Worth, TexasTravel flexibility as needed (approved travel and expense budget available)
