The Assembly/Test Technician is responsible for the assembly of perforating gun equipment throughout different stages of the build.In this role, you will:Process work orders to assemble productsDocument when necessaryAssemble equipment using tools such as a drill, screwdriver, or wrenchFollow the work order processes and testing standardsPerform general shop maintenance including clean up, driving forklift, and using overhead cranesPerform other duties as assignedRequired and Preferred Experience:Assembly line experience a plusRead and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosWrite correspondence and effectively present information in a one on one or small group situation to other employeesAdd, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsApply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written, and oral instructionsWork in a team environment and help others as neededAssemble perforating gunsRead blueprints or detailed machine drawingsWork Environment and Physical Requirements:You will work in a manufacturing shop environment with moderate noise levels on occasion exposed to wet and humid conditions and be exposed to vibrationsRequires lifting to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 25 poundsMust have the ability to see at close distance (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and be able to distinguish colors as demonstrated in passing the Jaeger Eye testEducation:HS Diploma or equivalent requiredWe pride ourselves in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
