Social Media and Marketing Intern

About Us:The Goodish Moms Club is a Cleveland-based nonprofit organization on a mission to empower mothers by fostering community, offering resources, and building connections that support their wellness and confidence as they navigate the challenges of motherhood.Position Overview:We are seeking a creative and motivated intern to join our team as a Marketing & Social Media Management Intern. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing while contributing to a meaningful cause. As an intern, you will be responsible for creating and managing content for our social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, to raise brand awareness, attract sponsorships and donations, and increase attendance at events. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging content for Instagram and Facebook, aligned with The Goodish Moms Club’s mission and values.Create graphics, captions, and posts that resonate with our audience of mothers.Plan and schedule posts to maintain a consistent and active presence on social media.Collaborate with our team to promote events, fundraisers, and community initiatives.Monitor social media engagement, track key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improving outreach.Assist in developing social media campaigns to drive donations, sponsorships, and participation.Stay up to date with social media trends and incorporate fresh ideas into our strategy.Qualifications:Strong communication and writing skills.Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).Ability to create visually appealing graphics (experience with Canva or similar tools is a plus).Self-motivated with a passion for community building and supporting mothers.Basic knowledge of marketing concepts or desire to learn about nonprofit marketing.Perks:Flexible schedule with the opportunity to work remotely.Hands-on experience in social media marketing for a nonprofit organization.Letter of recommendation and/or volunteer hours.Opportunity to make a real impact by supporting mothers in the Cleveland area.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and a brief cover letter explaining why they are interested in the position to hello@thegoodishmomsclub.org Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
