If you’re interested in architecture, design, hospitality, or guest experience, we invite you to explore opportunities with Utopia.About The OpportunityWe are looking for dynamic and experienced Structural Design Engineers to support ongoing design development of several luxury projects worldwide focusing on boutique hospitality assets.You'll lead structural design development for Utopia's boutique hospitality villas and hotels — from concept through construction detailing — ensuring every structure meets the highest safety and seismic standards without compromising the architectural vision. You'll collaborate closely with a Structural Design Manager and the wider design team, including architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and the FF&E procurement team.ResponsibilitiesDesign structural systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, ensuring compliance with local codes, seismic regulations, and international standardsIntegrate structural solutions seamlessly with architecture, interiors, and MEP through close cross-disciplinary coordinationResolve technical challenges early, protecting design intent without compromising structural performanceProduce detailed structural drawings, technical documentation, and construction specifications using Revit and AutoCADPerform structural analysis, load calculations, and seismic design to optimize safety and performanceGuide material selection and detailing to balance cost, sustainability, and architectural intentReview and approve deliverables from third-party structural consultants, geotechnical engineers, and surveyorsTrack emerging structural technologies and seismic design trends relevant to high-end hospitality constructionRequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering6–10 years of structural design experience at a design consultancy or general contractorExperience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects — private homes, villas, hotels, resortsProven expertise in seismic design and earthquake-resistant structuresStrong background in structural detailing and construction drawingsProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and ExcelProfessional-level EnglishWhat We OfferGlobal project exposure.
