Verification Validation Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)9+ years of hands-on experience in a Quality Assurance environment validating electromechanical products
- Experience creating DFMEA documentation and verification and validation (IOVV) test plans
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IECEx, and ATEX electrical safety standards
- Hands-on verification and validation experience with hardware, firmware, and software for electromechanical systems
Experience with test bench maintenance, real-time simulation, and execution of test cases.
Knowledge of Cpk and SPC data analysis.
Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools such as SolidWorks.
Responsibilities:
Own quality assurance activities for all phases of product development including hardware, firmware, and software.
Develop and maintain verification and validation test plans to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
Build, test, and evaluate prototypes to validate product requirements and support design debugging.
Create and update QA documentation, specifications, and analyses, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and support manufacturing ramp-up and quality issue resolution.
