Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled school psychologist to support students across a broad range of grade levels, from early childhood through 12th grade. This full-time contract position, located in Perry, GA, involves managing a caseload that spans K-12, providing vital psychological assessment, intervention, and support services to promote student well-being and academic success.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-12 to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to address mental health concerns and promote a safe school environment
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans such as IEPs
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support data-driven decision-making and positive behavioral interventions
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working with students across multiple grade levels, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
Strong assessment and counseling skills tailored to diverse student needs
Knowledge of educational law and best practices in special education and intervention
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload efficiently and effectively
