Quality Control Inspector $17.00 7am-5pm Mon-Thur Required Skills for Quality Inspector Job responsibilities will be to inspect metal fabrication parts for defects utilizing micrometers, calipers, height gage and surface plate. Need familiarity with inspection tools and equipment, ability to read blue prints and have an understanding of tolerances. Need to be detail oriented and have ability to complete paperwork and certifications for inspection of outgoing shipments completely and accurately. Perform receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection. Applicable occupational skills may include items such as: machined part inspection, sheet metal, mechanical assembly inspection, paint and finish inspection, package inspection. Experience with welding inspection a plus. Company will train on specific aspects of inspection as they pertain to their business. Sheet Metal experience is a must!!! Must have ability to perform non-routine, visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection on a variety of products from First Article, In Process and Final Inspection with extreme accuracy, proficiency, and efficiency. Must be proficient using all standard mechanic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and more. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Must demonstrate organizational skills and be able to prepare and record inspection data with respect to dimensional and drawing process specifications. Positive attitude is a must as well as the willingness to offer ideas and take on responsibilities related to the continuous improvement of Quality Program. Must have the ability to read blueprints!!! Will work alone so must be self-motivator Must be able to be flexible with schedule as needed. Perform first piece and spot check inspections on parts produced at each station. First article inspection and data collection as required. Perform receiving inspection, In-process and final inspection Sheet metal blueprint reading and interpretation with total understanding of tolerances. Experience with welding inspection a plus.
