The Mitigation Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing mitigation strategies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk and hazard assessments, developing mitigation plans, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing recommendations for effective hazard mitigation and emergency management. The role requires attentiveness to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication to ensure successful outcomes.QualificationsExpertise in Mitigation and Hazard Mitigation practicesStrong Analytical Skills for assessing risk and creating actionable strategiesExceptional Communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and conveying complex information effectivelyKnowledge of Emergency Management principles and best practicesAbility to work collaboratively within a team and independently as neededIICRC CertifiedRelevant certifications in mitigation or emergency management are a plus
