This might be the flexible position for you! SparkPoint Innovations brings unique, in-school science experiences to K-7 students around the country. Our programs are teacher-developed and student approved! Love to teach science? Need a flexible schedule? Want to teach in a whole new way and make a HUGE impact? SparkPoint Innovations, a teacher-owned company, is seeking a lead teacher for our in-school astronomy program, Orbit Earth Expo. Programs are taught in elementary and middle schools throughout Ohio, with potential to expand to Kentucky and Indiana. Flexible schedule! Teaching experience required. $400 per contracted program day assumes 5 hours per week assisting with guided marketing tasks. Hours follow traditional school day, plus set up and take down of teaching model before and after school. Schedule typically allows for a max of 1-2 teaching days per week - you may provide black out dates that do not work for your schedule. Likely pairs with another part-time job, please describe. Set up and take down requires ability to lift 30 pounds. We're looking for big personality, a sense of humor, and a love for children and teaching science!
