Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - InpatientLocation: Seaside, OR 97138Shift: Day Shift (09:30 AM - 06:00 PM) + Weekend Shift (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM)Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)Hours: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts, 5 days/week) Position Summary The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications within a critical access hospital environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and hands-on experience in IV medication preparation to ensure safe, effective, and compliant pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Perform IV admixture of non-hazardous medications Maintain accurate medication inventory, storage, and organization Label, package, and distribute medications in compliance with safety standards Utilize the EPIC system for medication tracking and documentation Support medication reconciliation and restocking processes Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Collaborate with pharmacists and clinical staff to support patient care delivery Required Skills & Experience Prior travel assignment experience (required) IV admixture experience (non-hazardous medications) (required) Strong focus on medication safety and accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a small hospital setting Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Pharmacy Technician training or certification (preferred) Required Certifications & Licensure Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License (required, in hand) PTCB Certification (preferred) For more details contact at or Call / Text at .
