Bartender

*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightlife environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. $10/hour plus 20% of tip pool. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. * Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience. * Process transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events, including banquets and catering functions. * Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment. * Uphold responsible serving practices, checking identification to verify legal drinking age. * Stay informed about new products, cocktail trends, and menu changes to enhance guest experiences. *Skills* * Proficient in Toast, Aloha POS, or Micros POS systems for efficient order processing. * Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality service. * Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and promote specials. * Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub, or food service environments preferred. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. * Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is a plus. * Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
