Coordinator - Autism & Behavior SY2026-2027

Primary PurposeAssist with the direction of the district’s special education program to ensure provision of needed services for special needs students.Work to facilitate successful implementation of individualized education plans to meet the needs of all students and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local requirements.Education / CertificationMaster’s degree.Principal certification preferred.Experience with special education evaluations preferred.Special Knowledge / SkillsKnowledge of federal and state special education law.Understanding of the individual needs of special needs students.Ability to communicate with all levels of special needs students and their parents.Ability to implement policy and procedures.Ability to interpret data Ability to manage budget and personnel.Ability to coordinate district function.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.ExperienceFive years teaching experience in special education.Five years experience as an autism/behavior specialist.Administrative experience preferred BCBA preferred.CPI trainer certification preferred.
