If you are looking to make a change where you can impact the core value and products of an organization, and have the benefits of a large corporation with the flexibility and culture of a smaller one please reach out and consider more information.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree or directly related year-for-year experience7 years of content or data experience3 years of sales or direct customer experience3 years of management experienceExperience working with retail or product data (Preferred)Experience with strategic planning (Preferred)ResponsibilitiesDevelops and owns the global IDS Sales Forecast, P&L, and Sales and Product expense budget.Plans and executes global business development strategies and initiatives that maximize revenue, margin, and commercial opportunities for the company, and deliver long-term partner relations.Manages and mentors the IDS team to maintain and grow the business and deliver excellent service to IDS customers.Develop current and new IDS products with the Digital Product Manager, incorporating customer feedback and responding to market forces to propel IDS as the leading data service provider in the book industry.Leads the Marketing approach in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, in close partnership with the Retail marketing team.Works with IT, Customer Care, Finance, Marketing, Retail, and Library teams where appropriate to develop solutions that will drive revenue and profit and serve the needs of IDS customers.Identifies potential new markets that promote long-term growth and proposes deals in response to business opportunities.
