Job Description Large manufacture and retailer of hot tubs and swim spas in Johnson City, TN is looking for a maintenance technician to add to our team!Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment, forklifts, tools and facilities.Major ResponsibilitiesForklift troubleshooting and repairTroubleshooting and repair of production equipmentOperating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered toolsReading and interpreting schematics, blue prints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine appropriate maintenance and repair needsFabricating production/facility systems using welding, milling, plumbing, and pipefittingPerforming preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as requiredLoading, unloading, lifting, and moving parts and equipment in preparation of inspection, maintenance, or service using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment as requiredMaintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standardsRequired Skills, Experience, Education & CertificationsHigh School DiplomaIndustrial maintenance background requiredAble to demonstrate safe and effective operation of all required equipment and tools.Able to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and measuring devicesAble to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systemsWelding, pipe-fitting, hydraulic-pneumatic experience recommendedPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand and walk on concrete majority of work dayMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb and crouchMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. alone and over 50 lbs. with assistanceMust be able to visually inspect productsCandidates must supply their own maintenance tools. xaygatp Specialty tools are provided by the company.Full time position, Day shiftHealth, dental, vision insuranceAccident and life insurance, short-term disabilityJob Type: Full-timeAbility to Commute:Johnson City, TN 37601 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Johnson City, TN 37601: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
