We have one of the largest facilities in the industry, nearly 300,000 square feet on 36 acres in Denison, Texas and has expanded its operation to 150,000 square feet facility in Abbeville, SC.Job SummaryThe Production Technician will be responsible for installation, preparation, and cleaning enclosuresJob Responsibilities/Duties Must be able to work scissor lift, ladders, and other elevated work conditions Ability to work with multiple projects Must be able to work with various types of insulation Determine how much insulation is required for projects and maintain adequate stock Utilize tape measure to cut insulation and other components Spray Foam installation, and trimming of foam Install ACs Help loading trucks Wrap building in shrink wrap Operating overhead cranes Install arch chutes Operate pressure washer Prepare metal surfaces for painting by using power tool cleaning Drill, cut and assemble metal components Install motorized dampers, gravity dampers and flashing Attach angle trim, bird screen, etc. in and on units Build, square up and insulate baffles; determine number required per unit Determine what types of fasteners are required for different applications Ensure consumable products (including grinding pads, drill bits, small fasteners, etc.) are fully used before disposing them to reduce unnecessary waste Prepare equipment and units for shipping by cleaning and applying heat-shrink wrap Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills General cleaning in the area Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations Will perform duties in a moral and ethical manner Responsible for any other tasks that may ariseWork Environmental And Physical Demand May stand for long periods of up to 12 hours. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively, as well as frequent twisting and bending, to meet fast paced work demands Work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and extreme temperatures. May work inside or outside to complete work assignments. Position requires exposure to dust and dirt. Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools, and equipment.Minimum Requirements/Experience Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in a shop/production environment Must be able to read tape measure, use tools such as grinders, drills and screw guns Must be able to read blueprints Must pass a drug screen and background check for employmentRequired Education High School diploma or equivalent
