Position OverviewNursing Pathway Assistant Job DescriptionThe Nursing Pathway Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Nursing Pathway Specialty Lead in all activities related to building and sustaining a comprehensive training plan for Operation Smile’s Nursing Education Training Pathway.Key ResponsibilitiesReview all nursing evaluations in the “OSA Pathways Report”Create or update Pathways trainee profilesTranscribe all evaluation data into the “Skills tracking templates”Update GVMS “Cleft competency pathway” box with notes on progressCommunicate with Nursing SL about evaluations status, including evaluations submitted and recommendations provided, as well as missing evaluations. As program priorities evolve throughout the year, the intern will also support additional emerging responsibilities and initiatives. Expected Time CommitmentThe employee will be working a total of eight hour per week.Schedule will be flexible, allowing for variations in start times.Participation in regular check-ins with assigned supervisor is expected. Work will be remote for the duration of the agreement.Compensation & BenefitsAs recognition for service, the appointed intern will have all approved expenses covered to attend OS programs identified by supervisor. Covered expenses typically include conference registration, travel, accommodation, and related approved costs, in accordance with OS policies, in addition to a certificate recognizing services provided by Operation Smile
