Projects and clients will be varied, ranging from public to private, roads to structures, simple to complex. A CMET Project Engineer will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, including: business development, proposal preparation, execution of services and completion of reports. A CMET Project Engineer will work amongst a group of engineers and will mentor junior engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesManage testing for construction materials for various project types and sizes, including public and privateCollaborate with staff engineers and project engineers working within the departmentMarket CMET services via building client connections and preparation of proposalsManage various clients, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely delivery of high-quality reports and completion of the services within the expected budgetAble to visit project sites and provide onsite testing where requiredExperience & QualificationsProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license preferredMinimum of 2-4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, or project engineeringKnowledge of field testing procedures for construction materialsKnowledge of laboratory testing procedures for construction materialsExperienced in client management, business development and marketingComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with employer match.Paid time off (PTO), holidays, and sick leave.Professional development opportunities (continuing education, certifications, etc.).Why Join Us?Materials Testing Consultants, Inc.
