Senior Java Microservices Developer (Biometric & Identity Management)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Java Microservices Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications within a biometric and identity management environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable microservice architectures, secure authentication mechanisms, messaging-based integrations, and modern cloud-native solutions while working within an Agile/Scrum delivery framework.The role requires strong expertise in modern Java development, enterprise integration patterns, messaging platforms, CI/CD automation, container technologies, and biometric identity management systems.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & ArchitectureDesign and develop enterprise-scale, production-grade systems leveraging microservices and messaging architectures.Build backend services and APIs using modern Java technologies and frameworks.Develop reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that meet business requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).Implement both functional and reactive programming approaches where appropriate.Develop and maintain REST APIs, integrations, and distributed services.Identity & SecurityDesign and implement OAuth-based authentication and authorization mechanisms.Ensure secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Implement logging, auditing, monitoring, and traceability features.Contribute to identity management and biometric solution development.Testing & Quality AssuranceDevelop comprehensive unit tests and integration tests.Perform code reviews and ensure software quality standards are met.Maintain high standards for application reliability, maintainability, and security.DevOps & DeploymentAssist in deployment, configuration, and operational support of applications.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Support cloud-native deployment strategies.Agile DeliveryWork within Agile/Scrum teams following established ceremonies and processes.Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.Contribute technical documentation and system design documentation.Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams.Source Control & CollaborationWork with Git-based source
