Role And ResponsibilitiesTeam Leaders are to maintain confidentiality of all information regarding associate performance and all other issues as directed by management.Ensure that all new associates have adequate training in their assigned work areas before being left alone to complete a taskWork directly with quality associates when problems occur to prevent substandard parts from being shippedInvestigate and resolve inventory issues as they ariseOversee equipment maintenance and ensure all required maintenance activities are performed daily including replacing threaders for driver checks biweekly.Team Leaders will be required to learn all jobs in their assigned work areas and operate lines when necessaryResponsible for completion of all documentation within the operations of their areaContinuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and delivery Provide continuous support for all associatesEnsure daily production needs are met to meet the customer’s demands and communicate requirements to associatesMaintain clear communication with customers regarding mutual expectations and take personal responsibility and accountability for correcting customer-service problemsEnsure all associates are trained and following the proper labeling proceduresOther duties as required by managementQualificationsHigh School diploma or GED equivalentPrior knowledge of production processes preferredMust have basic written communication skillsMust have good problem solving, verbal and interpersonal skillsEnvironmental & Physical DemandsThe environmental conditions and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
