Staff Accountant
A globally operating, growth‑oriented organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close in an international environment. This role works closely with senior accounting and finance leadership and plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, international exposure, structured close processes, and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.General Ledger & Financial ClosePerform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activitiesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processesPrepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliationsEnsure accuracy and timeliness of all monthly financial reportingSupport internal controls and accounting documentationFinancial Reporting & ComplianceApply working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standardsSupport interim and year‑end audits in coordination with external firmsAssist with foreign entity requirements and global reporting needsHelp ensure all tax filings and regulatory requirements are completed on timePerform project‑based accounting and reportingAccounts Receivable & Accounts PayableSupport Accounts Receivable (billing and collections) activitiesSupport Accounts Payable processing and reconciliationsAssist with resolving non‑routine accounting transactionsCross‑Functional SupportRespond to financial questions and reporting requests from finance leadershipMaintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and organizational informationBachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (associate degree considered if actively pursuing bachelor's)2+ years of accounting experiencePrior exposure to audit, tax, and compliance processes a plusStrong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS experience is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong Microsoft Office skillsExperience with NetSuite or accounting systems and reporting toolsStrong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
