The primary responsibilities include floating between two locations, primarily working at the Sugar Land location, supporting physicians and triage nurses, and utilizing the Ecw EMR system.Key ResponsibilitiesFloat between the West location and the Sugar Land location.Work alongside other Medical Assistants while rooming own patients.Support physicians who have a triage nurse on their team.QualificationsPrevious Medical Assistant experience required (1-2 years).Bilingual skills are heavily preferred.Background in Cardiology is heavily preferred.Certification preferred.SkillsProficiency in using the Ecw EMR system.Strong communication and teamwork skills.BenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
