A well-established company in Suffolk is looking for a SandBlaster Responsibilities Perform a variety of blasting for items such as high steel, structural steel Use variety of blasting equipment, power tools and work aid to clean & sand Mask and cover surfaces not to be blasted Apply grit to various different designed levels of coarseness Regulate controls on equipment Ensure high level of cleanliness for areas of accountability Education and Skills Required: High school diploma and / or equivalent vocational experience Minimum 2 years experience Ability to operate hoist and forklift an asset Key Performance Competencies: Some interpersonal / oral communication skills to deal with co-workers and supervisors regarding on-going projects Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
