Permanent W-2 Employee / Corp2Corp Contractor | Omm IT Solutions | United StatesPosted On 10/09/2026Job Information Start Date 10/11/2026 12:00 AMCompensation NegotiableIT ServicesWork Authorization Authorized to work in USAJob Opening ID Omm3022JState/Province MarylandCity Bethesda20810Job Description PLEASE NOTE:It is Hybrid Position at Bethesda, MarylandShould be able to visit and meet the client in Bethesda, MD.ROLE SUMNMARY:We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise applications.This role will lead technical implementation, mentor developers, and work with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure software.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and develop Java applications, REST APIs, and backend services using Spring Boot.Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.Develop database integrations and optimize SQL queries and application performance.Review code, establish development standards, and mentor junior developers.Write unit and integration tests and troubleshoot production issues.Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams on testing, releases, and operational readiness.Address application security, scalability, and reliability requirements.Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of professional Java development experience.Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, object-oriented design, and design patterns.Experience developing REST APIs and working with relational databases.Proficiency with Git, Maven or Gradle, and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit.Experience with Agile development and CI/CD processes.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with microservices, messaging systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.Experience deploying applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or another cloud platform.Familiarity with observability tools and distributed application troubleshooting.Education/Work Experience 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
