Job DetailsDescriptionCleaver Brooks is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support high-visibility IT initiatives focused on developing and deploying new enterprise technology capabilities. This role will lead the project management lifecycle, collaborating closely with IT and cross-functional business teams to deliver solutions that enhance operational performance and drive digital modernization.This is a temporary individual contributor role with no direct reports, working closely with IT, business partners, and extended resources across Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and other functional teams.Essential DutiesProject Plan ManagementMaintain and update project tasks, milestones, and dependenciesDrive accountability with project resources on task completionMonitor the critical path; proactively identify acceleration opportunitiesManage cross-team dependencies and sequencingTechnical Release & Deployment ManagementFacilitate prioritization of system features, enhancements, and requirementsSupport release governance and scope managementSchedule and coordinate release planning and readiness reviewsTrack, document, and prioritize defects and break/fix itemsEnforce formal change management proceduresProject Execution & DeliveryApply Agile and hybrid SDLC methodologies for planning and executionTrack and mitigate risks, issues, and resource constraintsMaintain project artifacts, status updates, and documentationCoordinate user acceptance testing and validation activitiesMonitor project time, labor reports, and cost trackingStakeholder Communication & CollaborationServe as a liaison between IT and business stakeholdersProvide clear and timely communication on progress, risks, and decisionsSupport organizational readiness and internal project communicationRoadmap & Future PlanningContribute to multi-phase IT project roadmapsBuild supporting plans for upcoming releases, enhancements, or systemsManage concurrent project plans aligned to enterprise IT prioritiesRequired SkillsExperience managing technical or enterprise system projectsStrong understanding of SDLC (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)Experience supporting release cycles or system implementation teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesProficient in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, MS Project, and VisioStrong stakeholder engagement skills across IT and businessComfort with decentralized teams and virtual communication toolsSelf-starter with strong ownership, initiative, and follow-throughEducation: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree a plus.Experience: 5 years or more in IT environment. 3 years or more managing IT related projects. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Project Management certification preferred. Experience with IFS ERP Applications a plus.
