Position Type:Student Support Services/Speech and Language PathologistDate Posted:5/5/2026Location:Black River Public SchoolDate Available:08/16/2026Closing Date:06/05/2026K-12 Speech TherapistQualifications:Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.Current licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist through the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) of Michigan.Active CPI certification or agreement to obtain certification.Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:Conducting speech and language screenings and diagnostic evaluations to determine the need for services.Participating as a team member in the comprehensive evaluation, review, and reevaluation process.Participating in the development of student IEPs.Providing speech therapy services and/or consultation based on student IEPs.Monitoring student progress and making informed educational decisions.Maintaining appropriate, confidential records and providing timely progress reports.Assisting teachers in the development curriculum modifications, accommodations, and appropriate classroom strategies.Keeping informed of new research and techniques through continued professional learning.School Description:Black River Public School is an independent, non-profit college-preparatory charter school serving grades K-12.
