Locum Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgery in Springfield, OH Join a dynamic team at a full-service acute care hospital located in Springfield, Ohio. We are looking for a skilled Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon to provide call coverage starting May 28, 2026. The facility features 250 beds, including 60 ICU beds, and is equipped with an onsite lab and x-ray. With a focus on adult cases, you will work alongside one physician and two mid-level providers in a supportive environment utilizing the EPIC documentation system. Job Responsibilities: Perform a variety of general CV/Thoracic/Vascular surgeries.Manage cases including coronary artery bypass surgery and congenital defects.Conduct valvular repair/replacements and aneurysm repairs.Execute lung resections and chest wall/pleural procedures.Perform esophagus and diaphragm surgeries.Conduct endarterectomies (carotid & renal).Oversee ventilation management and bronchoscopy procedures.Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues. Qualifications: Board Certified in Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery.BLS and ACLS certifications.Active Ohio state license.Clean record with consideration for minor discrepancies.Availability to cover designated dates.
