Platform Administration – Atlan Data Catalog

Administer and support the Atlan Data Catalog platformConfigure and maintain:Metadata ingestion and connectors (e.g., data warehouses, BI tools, pipelines)User roles, permissions, and access policiesGlossaries, tags, classifications, and workflows (as defined by governance teams)Monitor metadata syncs, lineage extraction, and indexing jobsSupport onboarding of new data sources, domains, and user groupsIntegrations & OperationsSupport integrations between Profisee, Atlan, and the broader data stack (e.g., data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, BI platforms)Assist with API-based integrations and metadata exchange between platformsMonitor platform health, performance, and availabilityDocument operational procedures, runbooks, and support processesSecurity, Access & ComplianceAdminister user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and SSO integrationsSupport audit & compliance by providing platform usage, configuration, & access evidenceEnsure platforms adhere to enterprise security and data governance standardsUser Support & EnablementServe as a primary point of contact for platform-related questions and issuesSupport data stewards, analysts, engineers, and business users with troubleshooting and basic enablementPartner with product owners and enablement teams to support training, adoption, and rollout of new capabilitiesContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve platform reliability, automation, and operational efficiencyPartner with product owners to implement enhancements and best practicesStay current on Profisee and Atlan product updates, features, and recommended configurationsRequired Qualifications4+ years of experience administering data, analytics, or enterprise platformsHands-on experience with Profisee MDM, Atlan, or similar MDM and data catalog platformsStrong understanding of:Data models and metadataData pipelines and integrationsRole-based access control and platform securityExperience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data stacksStrong troubleshooting and operational problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience administering both an MDM platform and a data catalog/governance platformFamiliarity with:Azure-based data environmentsAPIs and integration patternsData governance, stewardship, and data quality conceptsExperience supporting enterprise data governance or MDM programsKey Skills & CompetenciesPlatform administration and operationsMDM and metadata management conceptsMonitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolutionClear technical documentation and communicationCollaboration with engineering, governance, and business teamsAttention to detail and operational discipline#J-18808-Ljbffr
