Logistics Specialist Needed***DescriptionLowell, MAWe are looking to add an additional site logistics contractor to support the Cloud data centers. They do not need to come from a tech background. The manager will consider someone with this experience from retail, grocery, warehouse, etc.... as long as it shows consistent Logistics career.The role is 40 hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with key responsibilities listed below;Receives deliveries in data center Physically & SystematicallyReceiving DevicesConsumablesEnsuring Materials are secured and stored accordingly at time of deliveryExpediting shipments or physical material verification Ad-hoc through warehousesMaintain and organize storage areasCreate Physical Project PalletsPull, Prep, and coordinated shipment of Materials for Movement to other sites/warehouses (NSVIR's)Support and appropriately escalate emergent DC Ops material requests, and other misc. urgent mattersInventory Accuracy ActivitiesWeekly Inventory Scans (Devices)Cycle Count (w/in the NInventory as scheduled per ABC Analysis)Discrepancy onsite/warehouse deep divesPhysical and systematic Return to Stock (RTS)RTS Rack TransactionsPost-Project Unused Material RTS10 days of PTO for our contractors.Skillsinventory management, cycle counting, shipping and receiving, logistics, material management, inventory tracking, cycle countsTop Skills Detailsinventory management,cycle counting,shipping and receiving,logisticsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust have a great attitude and be a team player. This role is in support of the cloud team which is dynamic and constantly receiving and sending out equipment.
