Lead Packaging/Strapping Operator

Overview We are seeking a Lead Packaging/Strapping Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the packaging and strapping processes while maintaining safety and quality standards. As a leader in our manufacturing plant, you will coordinate daily operations, mentor team members, and troubleshoot equipment issues to keep production running smoothly. Duties Lead a team of employees in a fast paced, highly automated manufacturing environment Working leader, working side-by-side with team members Work is primarily indoors with continuously open doors to outside weather conditions Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Take on an active role in leading departmental 5S initiatives Position is 2ND SHIFT (1pm-9pm) Monday-Friday Skills Prioritize SAFETY first, then QUALITY and PRODUCTION Prior leadership experience Ability to direct work and hold team accountable for results Communicate clearly with management and fellow team members Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift 50 lbs. Maintain cleanliness in work areas and return all tools to service in as good or better condition than when started Work overtime, as needed (including some weekends) Regular and reliable attendance Other duties as assigned Triangle Brick Company is a leading brick manufacturer headquartered in Durham, N.C.
