We are seeking an experienced API Integration Developer to support enterprise integration initiatives across multiple project and portfolio management platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, Azure DevOps APIs, JavaScript, and Azure Cloud Services and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations that ensure data consistency and automation across systems. This role will focus on building and supporting integrations between Azure DevOps (ADO), Craft.io, and Apptio TargetProcess, while creating automation solutions and supporting project migration and data cleanup efforts. Key ResponsibilitiesAPI Development & Integration Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs using Node.js. Build and support bi-directional integrations between Craft.io and Azure DevOps. Implement state-based synchronization and workflow automation across platforms. Maintain work item hierarchy and data consistency between integrated systems. Develop API solutions for project migration, cleanup, and reporting initiatives. Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and field mapping specifications. Azure DevOps Development Utilize Azure DevOps REST APIs to manage work items, repositories, pipelines, builds, and releases. Develop webhook integrations and event-driven automation solutions. Create custom work item queries and support ADO customization efforts.
Automation & Workflow Support:
- Develop JavaScript-based automations and filters for TargetProcess integrations.
- Support data synchronization between Azure DevOps and Apptio TargetProcess.
- Automate Active Directory group creation processes.
- Build reporting solutions for inactive project identification and cleanup.
- Data Cleanup & Migration
- Develop APIs and automation scripts to:
- Move projects and work items between organizations.
- Perform KPI item-type cleanup activities.
- Execute risk and issue record updates.
- Manage recycle bin cleanup processes.
- Support large-scale project migration initiatives.
Documentation & Governance:
- Produce detailed technical documentation aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards.
- Document integration architecture, data mappings, workflows, and deployment procedures.
- Clearly communicate technical solutions and implementation details to stakeholders.
