Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)LocationsDayton, OH 45417 Germantown, OH 45327 Must provide coverage at both locationsPosition TypeFull-Time Compensation & Benefits$25–$35/hour based on experience Paid travel time between facilities Benefits eligible after 30 days Accrued PTO up to 20 days during Year 1 About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team supporting residents across two locations in the Dayton/Germantown area. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to help residents regain mobility, improve strength and balance, and achieve optimal physical function. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working in a collaborative rehabilitation environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Physical Therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals Support residents with mobility, strengthening, balance, and therapeutic exercises Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, therapy techniques, and post-discharge maintenance programs Help residents maintain achieved functional levels through education and activity modification Maintain accurate documentation and EMR records in compliance with facility standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care QualificationsRequired:Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current, active, and unencumbered PTA license in the state of Ohio Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate EMR and service delivery software Strong communication and patient care skills Preferred:Prior Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or rehabilitation experience Vent/trach experience or knowledge is a plus Facility TypeSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF)If you are a dedicated PTA looking to make a meaningful impact in residents’ lives while working with a supportive rehab team, we encourage you to apply today.
