Firmware Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:Develop firmware to integrate custom image sensors with an MCUDevelop firmware to interface with hardware acceleration blocksDevelop firmware to interface with sensors like IMU, Barometers, & MagnetometerDevelop bootloadersDevelop test applications to interface with a variety of peripheralsTest the developed firmware with the hardwareDocument designs and performance analysis Minimum Qualifications:8+ years experience in Firmware or Embedded Software Development in C/C++2+ years experience developing drivers for camera sensors on new ICs2+ years experience developing firmware with multi-core SoCs or MCUs3+ Experience with Zephyr OS, Embedded Linux or other RTOSAbility to work autonomously with little or no supervisionAbility to work in a dynamic, high-paced environment where job duties may change frequently Top 3 must-have HARD skills:8+ years experience in Firmware or Embedded Software Development in C or C++2+ years experience developing firmware with multi-core SoCs or MCUs3+ Experience with Zephyr OS, Embedded Linux or other RTOS Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with MIPI C-PHY and image sensorsFamiliarity with I3C, SPI, UART, USBFamiliarity with Embedded Linux, and kernel driversFamiliarity with file systemsFamiliarity with bootloaders on small MCUs and larger SoCsLow power optimization of embedded systemsStrong technical writing skills Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
