Security/Bouncer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, managing conflicts, and providing a safe environment for all patrons. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to assess situations quickly, and a commitment to enforcing venue policies. Duties Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to control access and ensure safety. Conduct thorough checks of patrons to prevent entry of prohibited items. Manage crowd control during busy periods to maintain a safe atmosphere. Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor activities within the venue. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations. Document incidents accurately for reporting purposes. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
