Utility Locator

Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a reliable, safety-minded professional to join our Water team as a Utility Locator. This is hands-on, outdoor work where you'll play a critical role in keeping our community's infrastructure safe and operational. As a Utility Locator, you'll spend your days in the field identifying and marking underground utilitieswater lines, sewer, fiber optic cables, storm drains, and morebefore any digging begins. You'll use specialized locating equipment, read blueprints and maps, and work directly with contractors and crews to prevent damage to Gilbert's underground infrastructure. This role reports to the Water Utility Supervisor and requires someone who takes pride in doing quality work, works well with others, and is committed to safety on every job.
