Job Title:Primary Duties and Responsibilities:+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products, ensuring integrity, reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with specifications.+ Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department. Also, Book of Knowledge from ASQ.+ Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.+ Monitors and enforces quality system.+ Gathers data and performs problem solving to control and improve the quality of the production processes.+ Develops and maintains control plans and inspection work instructions.+ Participates and documents problem solving activities related to quality issues.+ Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.+ Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.+ Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess responsibility.+ Knowledge on measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.+ Interfaces with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, customer, or vendors to coordinate and resolve quality-related problems.+ Provides computerized status report describing progress and concerns related to inspection activities, nonconforming items, and/or other items related to the quality of the process, material, or product.+ Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.+ Maintains a working knowledge of the latest codes and new developments in testing and examination methods of processes, materials, and products.Skills & Qualifications:Required:+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.+ 2-4 years of quality engineering experience.+ Specific education and training in Quality Disciplines including Corrective Actions, Total Quality Management, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, SPC and Print Reading.+ Familiarity with Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plan Standards.+ PPAP requirements, Dimensional studies, and gage/fixture studies.+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Burlington, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.Competitive Base Wages (pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, etc.) - Paid Overtime - Regional Bonus (when applicable) - Industry-leading Benefit Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx) - Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, shutdown - Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability - 401K Plan with company match + additional contribution Career Growth: - Advancement Opportunities - Career Mobility - Education Reimbursement for Continued Learning - Training and Development Programs Additional Offerings: - Lifestyle Account - Childcare Reimbursement Account - Tuition Assistance & Student Loan Repayment - Elder Care Support - Wellbeing Program - Community Service and Engagement Programs - Product ProgramsWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Burlington,NC.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Mar 26, 2026.Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
