Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind chef and social media star Nick DiGiovanni, is looking to hire a full-time Longform Video Editor to craft engaging, high-quality long-form content for our Nick’s Kitchen YouTube channel.Who we’re looking forWe are seeking a skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Longform Video Editor with a proven track record of editing compelling longform content for YouTube. This role requires strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of digital content trends to create videos that captivate millions of viewers.Bonus - you have a passion for food and working in the food space, particularly editing that style of content!Who you’ll work withAs a Longform Video Editor, you will directly support our Post Production Supervisor and greater editing team. You will also work closely with all stakeholders involved in our videos.What you’ll bring to the team3+ years of experience in video editing on a professional levelExperience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and PhotoshopDeep understanding of creating engaging long-form content, pacing, and audio & visual storytellingStrong skills in sound design and music selection to elevate emotional impact and viewer engagementTop-notch organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, and an eye for detailAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring new creative ideas to the tableBachelor’s degree with a concentration in fields related to film studies or video production
