This is an opportunity to directly influence the performance, safety, and success of cutting edge flight test programs.If you thrive on solving complex problems, driving process improvements, and owning critical engineering deliverables, this role puts you at the heart of innovation.What You’ll DoAs an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer supporting Boeing Test & Evaluation, you will lead, manage, and execute manufacturing design and planning efforts that power multiple development aircraft programs. Acting as the owner of the build plan, you ensure that fabrication and installation meet stringent design, test, and program requirements.Day to Day Responsibilities Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop integrated technical solutions Lead collaboration with Test Project Management, Design Engineering, and Program IE to maintain cohesive build plans Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations Coordinate with internal fabrication teams and supplier/procurement partners to track and secure needed materials Oversee part status and shipping coordination across multiple groups Develop and document BT&E ME processes, tools, job practices, and standards Prepare build analyses, producibility assessments, and cost estimate reports Lead integration of complex suppliers, materials, and technologies to meet delivery objectives Manage the program work statement to meet cost and schedule requirements Draft, update, and review procedures supporting business and program needs Create and deliver training materials for the Design & Planning ME team Work with minimal direction while partnering effectively across multidisciplinary teamsWhat You BringRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry Typically 5+ years of related experience, or a combination of advanced technical education and experience (Master’s + 3 years, PhD, etc.) Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, DFMA principles, and integrated build plan development Experience collaborating in cross functional engineering and production environments Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications ABET accredited engineering degree (preferred but not required) Prior experience in aircraft or aerospace manufacturing environments Experience supporting flight test, installation planning, or development aircraft programs Familiarity with procurement, supplier management, and complex build environmentsOpen to L2 & L3 candidates.Why Join UsRoleWhen you work with PDS Tech Commercial, you join a team committed to supporting professionals who play a critical role in the success of major aerospace programs.
