Warehouse Manager
What is the position?The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse and yard operations while supporting overall business growth through efficient inventory management and exceptional service. This role plays a key part in ensuring products move quickly and accurately from receiving to fulfillment, helping create a seamless customer experience and supporting sales initiatives across the operation.What are the responsibilities?As a Warehouse Manager, you will:Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory processes to maintain efficiency and accuracy.Partner with store leadership and sales teams to support promotions, maintain product availability, and improve fulfillment speed.Lead and develop warehouse staff through hiring, scheduling, training, and performance coaching.Track operational performance metrics such as productivity, order accuracy, and inventory levels to identify areas for improvement.Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment while overseeing equipment upkeep and operational workflows.Help optimize labor, inventory, and warehouse procedures to improve operational efficiency and support increased sales volume.What are the requirements?3-5 years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience, preferably within retail or high-volume environmentsStrong background in inventory management and warehouse systemsMicrosoft Office Suite skills, particularly ExcelProven ability to lead teams, improve operational performance, and maintain a customer-focused mindsetExperience with lean processes and continuous improvement strategiesAbility to work flexible schedules, including weekends and peak business periodsAbility to lift 50+ lbsOrganization and attention to detailsExcellent customer service skillsForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferredBilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) is a plusYou would be really happy working here if:You can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently.You are left-brained and understand that the devil’s in the details, proactively seeking them out and understanding how they contribute to the whole of a project.JoCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
